Professional male dance artists required for Boys Dancing, West Midlands

Boys Dancing is a West Midlands wide project* that will provide inspirational opportunities for boys and young men from across the region to create, perform and enjoy contemporary dance, taking place from early 2011 through to Summer 2012.

By Summer 2012 more than 2,000 boys and young men will take part in a wide range of dance activities in Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The boys and young men involved will be of all abilities, all backgrounds and from all communities, and the activity will take place in schools, youth centres, a prison, after school groups and pupil referral units.

The Boys Dancing partners** would like to hear from professional male dance artists who are interested in getting involved with the project and leading the activity.
