The workshops begins with a Limon based dance class which emphasises use of breath, weight and musicality and follows with a chance to develop choreographic skills in a creative workshop
The workshop is taught by Genevieve, a dance artist who has recently relocated to the area. Genevieve danced throughout the UK and Bangladesh before attaining a BA (Hons) in Dance at DeMontfort University and an MA in Choreography at Middlesex University. She ran the BTEC Dance course at North Hertfordshre College for six years and was Senior Lecturer in Performance at Southampton Solent University.
Her work has been shown at many mid scale theatres including, The Place (London), Gordon Craig Theatre, Campus West, Milais Theatre and she is currently working on a short dance film.
