Opportunity: Media & PR Support for International Dance Festival Birmingham 2012
Fee: £9,950 including all expenses

International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB) is unique in its diversity and internationalism, programming exceptional dance from across the globe and fostering new collaborations with international choreographers and artists. A key showcase for the region’s impressive arts infrastructure, IDFB plays a powerful role in positioning Birmingham as an internationally significant cultural city at the heart of a thriving, active, region.
Building on the success of festivals in 2008 and 2010, we are enhancing our offer in 2012 and want to generate greater profile and media coverage than ever before. We are looking for a media and PR professional or agency to help us do this, supporting in-house press and media activity in the run-up to, and during, the festival.
If you have a strong track record in securing coverage with global reach, proven experience of success within cultural and/or dance industry media, experience of working on multi-faceted projects with multiple stakeholders, and a creative “can do” approach, you could be just what we’re looking for.

Proposals are welcome from agencies or individuals. Shortlisted agencies/individuals will be asked to deliver a short presentation summarising their proposal week commencing 26th September 2011.
Proposals submitted via recruitment agencies will not be accepted.
