Assistant Dance Artist Opportunity - Shropshire

An exciting dance and digital media project is being developed as part of the plans for 2012 in Much Wenlock. As part of this project there is an opportunity for an assistant dance artist to work alongside experienced professional dance artists Toby Norman-Wright and Sonia Sabri, and digital media artists from The Hive and Igloovision. The project will involve working with young people from Primary and Secondary Schools and community groups from across Shropshire.

There will be a research and development phase for this project during the week of 23rd May. Interested dance artists are invited to write an expression of interest to apply to be part of this research and development phase, and potentially the wider project if funding is successful. A fee of £175 per day for two days will be paid for the research and development phase. This fee is inclusive with no additional travel or other expenses paid. Activity will take place in Much Wenlock and Craven Arms. Applicants must have access to their own transport.
