Foundation for Community Dance Summer School 2011

The Foundation for Community Dance (FCD) would like to invite you to meet the authors of our handbooks, along with other high quality tutors at our Summer School. The perfect opportunity for dance practitioners to deepen their knowledge and practical skills, with courses that are now aligned with new industry approved National Occupational Standards in Dance Leadership. Choose one of four inspiring courses:



  • Passport to practice: An induction to professional practice in community dance with Diane Amans. Passport to practice is ideal for dance artists starting out or professionals in education, sport, health or care settings who lead dance in community contexts

  • Dance, health and wellbeing: with Miranda Tufnell

  • Dance and age inclusive practice: with Ruth Pethybridge

  • Dance and disabled people: with Isabel Jones
