Dance Practioner, Funky Feet

Excellent Dance Teachers are urgently required to join the Funky Feet team and teach dance to children locally.

They are particularly looking for teachers in West Midlands, Central England (Oxford, Staffs), Glasgow and Sussex. Dance Teachers must have experience of teaching children and will be required to demonstrate their ability in street dance and in teaching.

Funky Feet are a fun, friendly and supportive company with a passion for making dance enjoyable, creative and accessible to all children in a variety of settings. They are looking for confident individuals who are wanting to teach during the week and / or at weekends and who can work well as part of a team.

Graduates welcome and teaching assistant opportunities may also be available.

They are looking for confident, friendly, adaptable, enthusiastic, organised and reliable individuals who have a mature and professional attitude. Applicants must be able to work weekends and have access to a car and stereo/PA.

Excellent rates of pay for successful applicants. Only individuals who are committed and hard working need apply.

A Funky Feet Enhanced CRB Disclosure will be required by successful applicants before teaching.

Essential:
Experience of teaching children;
Ability in street dance;
Access to a car and stereo / PA;
Confident, fun, friendly and hard working;
Mature and professional attitude;
Willing to attend training;
Celebrate diversity and challenge discrimination;
Safe dance technique.

Desirable:
Cheerleading experience;
Children’s entertainment experience;
Relevant qualifications such as BA in Dance, REPS / Exercise to Music or teacher training;
Child protection training.
