Call for Dancers!

Dance Transformations seeks 9 committed and vibrant dancers for a fantastic opportunity to perform works by emerging disabled and non-disabled choreographers on the programme. Dance Transformations is a two year training programme supporting a group of emerging disabled and non-disabled dance artists based in the West Midlands.This is an artist led programme working together to explore original choreographic ideas and processes in an inclusive context with mentor guidance.

Dance Transformations invites Midlands based dancers aged 18+ with an interest in choreography, performance and inclusive dance. This FREE opportunity offers a unique experience to:

• Work with emerging regionally based choreographers.
• Gain insight into inclusive dance practice.
• Invaluable experience into working as a dancer within a company context.
• Participate in a unique symposium at Coventry University.
• Meet people working in the dance sector.
• Gain valuable insight into Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company.
• Opportunity to perform.
• Opportunity to work in beautiful studios at DanceXchange, Birmingham.

Bursaries are available towards travel £120 total.

PLEASE NOTE PLACES ARE LIMITED. Expressions of interest must be made by Wednesday 1st June.
