Community Grant Fund - Royal Leamington Spa

Financial assistance is available to voluntary and community organisations for projects that will benefit the residents of Royal Leamington Spa.

Maximum Value:
£ 2,000
Grants are normally less than £2,000.

The Community Grant Fund is provided and administered by the Royal Leamington Spa Town Council. Funding is intended to support voluntary and community organisations that have one-off projects that would benefit the community, or a large number of residents, of Royal Leamington Spa.

Key Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a not-for-profit organisation.


• Have a constitution and/or articles of association.


• Have a bank account in the name of the organisation.

Projects must:

• Be located in the Parish of Royal Leamington Spa.


• Benefit a significant number of people living within the Parish of Royal Leamington


• Benefit the whole community or a specific group whose principal objectives are not those of a single individual.


• Be one-off and for under £2,000.

Applications will be evaluated according to a number of factors, including the following:

• Social inclusion-projects that address problems of social deprivation, disadvantage etc.


• Degree of community development/public involvement.


• Partnership working and match funding


• Sustainability (impact in terms of environment).

Eligible Expenditure
Costs associated with eligible one-off projects.

Restrictions
The following are not eligible for funding:

• Projects that benefit a single individual.


• Ongoing revenue costs. (Please note there may be exceptional circumstances when funding for ongoing revenue costs may be considered for applicants that have offered a range of services for a number of years.)
